Inclusion and kindness start with an action. We create bracelets as a way to begin new friendships!
We are third grade students out to make a difference. We want inclusion for all kids on the playground!
We have learned that all students are the same including those with disabilities!
We create our bracelets for intentional playground inclusion.
Our students were inspired by Ian’s story.
We don’t just make bracelets and talk about kindness, friendship and inclusion...we go out and make new friends.
Our bracelets are made with creativity in mind! Students can pick from a variety of materials or even make their own and bring to school!
Students are encouraged to try different approaches, both in making bracelets and friends. Our main goal is to have a growth mindset and continue to improve how we create and implement our mission.
In order to develop sincere empathy and inclusion students are encouraged to make their own unique bracelets to give away with creating new friendships in mind.
Students participate in every part of our action plan! We work on our website and are currently creating a blog!
“Kids helping kids find friends.”
